 In the Name of God Amen the thirtieth day of December in the Year of Our Lord God 1766 I George Norris of Duplin County being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given Unto God therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men Once to die to make and Order this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it and for my body I recommend it to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner at the Discretion of My Executor. Nothing doubting but at the General Resurrection Receive the same again by the Mighty Power of God and as touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it has pleased God to Profit me in this life I give bequeath and dispose of the same in the Following Manner and form .

 Item I give and bequeath unto my Dear Beloved son George Norris One Cow and Calf

 I give and bequeath my beloved son-in-law Thomas Jernigan One Shilling Sterling Money of Great Britain

 I give and bequeath unto Abraham Molton my Beloved son-in-law One negro Wench named Pen with her increase that she now has or hereafter may have likewise One large Roll and One flax wheel

 I give and bequeath unto Felix Kenan my Beloved son-in-law. One pair of -?Dyel?-- males and one good Feather Bed.

 Item I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Sarah Norris Daughter of Sarah Molton after my dear Beloved wife deceased the Manner plantation whereon I now live Containing one hundred acres as by Deed from Thomas Jernigan will appear together with all improvements Houses, Fences, Gardens, Woods, Underwoods, with plane, cold axes and Working Tools thereunto belonging to be by her to be truly and clearly to be possessed and enjoyed likewise. One good featherbed and furniture.

 Item I give and bequeath unto Sarah my Dearly Beloved wife whom I likewise Constitute make and ordain my Only and sole executor of this my last Will and Testament. One negro Wench called Sue and all and singular my household goods and furniture that is not above mentioned , likewise all my Cattle, Horses, and Hogs With all my outstanding debts to be by her freely to be possessed and enjoyed and I do hereby willingly disallow Revoke and disannul all every other former testament Wills and legacies Bequest and executors by me in any ways before this time named Willed and bequeathed. Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.

 In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my name and seal the day and year above written.
