  In The name of God Amen.

 I Howel Hunter of the State of N. Carolina and county of Duplin being sick of body at present but of sound Mind and perfect memory thanks be to God. & calling Mortallity to mind & Knowing that it is appointed for all men once To dy do make and publish this my last Will and testament disannulling all other Wills by me maid or published in manner And form following towit

 First of all I wish all my Just debts paid by my executor at his discretion &c

 And first of all I Give & bequeath unto my Brother Edward Hunter one hundred & twenty Five dollars $125

 Next I give and bequeath unto my Brother Jobe Hunter one hundred dollars $100

 Next I give and bequeath unto my Brother William Hunter my lands and fifty dollars $ 50

 Next I give and bequeath unto my Brother Nicolas Hunter one hundred & twenty five dollars $125

 Next I give and bequeath unto my Brother Wright Hunter ten dollars $ 10

 Next I give and bequeath unto Martin Manning Ten dollars $ 10

 next I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Howel hunter Son of Jobe Hunter one hundred and fifty dollars $150

 And next I give and bequeath unto Howel Hunter son of William Hunter fifty dollars $ 50

 Next I give and bequeath unto William Wright hollingsworth fifty dollars $ 50

 Next I give and bequeath unto the boy Now with me & bound to me Fredrick Picket Jr. fifty dollars $ 50

 Next I give and bequeath unto John MCann Jr. fifty dollars $ 50

 Next I give and bequeath unto John Gaugh twenty dollars $ 20

 Next I give and bequeath unto Hezekiah Grant fifteen dollars $ 15

 Next I give and bequeath unto Benjamin Padget fifteen dollars $ 15

 Next I give and bequeath unto Mariann Manning Twenty five dollars $ 25

 N I give & bequeath unto Sally luiza manning twenty five dollars $ 25

 Next as I have bestowed on Some of my friends under age at present it is my will And intention therefore that if one or all or any part of the afore mentioned minors appointed dy before they become the age of twenty one that that then & in that case the afore mentioned sum or sums herein Given to them To be given to my four brothers towit Ned Jobe William & Nicolas Hunter And lastly if there should be any surplus

 Of my estate left after the aforementioned division takes place & all my Just debts is paid with every accruing Expence that then & in that case the Residue Remaining to be divided between All mentioned in the above will who is Now of the age of twenty one the division To be not exactly Equal but in perportion to what is laid of to them in the afore mentioned will an where I have given a small dowery the Remaining divide to be Small in perportion to the larger ones.

 Lastly I nominate and appoint John Manning Jr. my whole executor to this my last Will and do by these presence authorise him And Vest him with full power as such to this my last will & testament In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & seal

 Then was the within Will proved in open Court in due form of law by the Oath Jn’o MCanne Jr. & at the Same time John Mcanne Jr. the Exc’r named in s’d Will Qualified as Execr thereto.
