I am looking for any information on the following three people: Mary (Polly) ALDERMAN who was born in Duplin Co. 6 April 1810. She married Edward Barker WHITE (from England) 25 March 1833 in New Hanover Co. N.C. and then they moved to Miss. She passed away in 1852 in MIss. and he remarried. He married Flora MACKELLAR who was born in Cumberland Co. N.C. she was born 17 June 1818. Flora may be kin to Mary Alderman, a cousin! Any information on these three or their families would be great. Williams, specifically Austin Williams and his father, Daniel Williams My information says Austin was actually born in Wayne County 1/4/1830, I have no evidence he was born there, but he was living in Wayne County in 1860... it's his father I am researching and the only Daniel who was the right age in the area in 1830 was in the Duplin census. There are a large number of Williams families in Duplin and I am hoping I will run across someone researching a Daniel Williams who may have died in 1840 (family story) and was born sometime prior to 1812 and not much before 1780. Daniel's wife was Peggy (?) I obviously have a brick wall here, but the census led me to Duplin.
