I am looking for any information about James Isom Sullivan born 1823 in Duplin County. I know that sometime in between his birth and 1853 he moved to Alabama and married a Mary MILAM who was born in Lawrence Co., Alabama. They had thirteen children, ten surviving past infancy. The children were James Isom Jr., William Elijah, John Henry, Darius Jefferson, Charles Franklin, Robert E. Lee, Mary Emma, Zilpha Ann, Winnie, and Bedford Forest. Sometime in the 1880s after James died, his children moved to Texas, and a few to Oklahoma. If anyone has any info., please email me.

Hines 2nd. William Frederick Mahn Jr 6-Mary R. George md. John Gottlieb Robitzsch 7-Ann George md. Joshua Taylor I would love to correspond with any one who might be able to help me with these names. It seems these families might have been in the part of New Hanover Co. that later became Duplin. They also lived in Pender Co, that came out of New Hanover Co. Is there a possibility that some of these marriages wer in Duplin? Thanks for any help. My e-mail is fdeans@juno.com
