I am still looking for info on David Hutchison/Hodgeson's (my ggggrandfather) wife. I discovered that the last name of Hutchison the family used after moving to FL was Hodgeson or Hodgerson while in Duplin Co altho Hutchison was also used and was on the 1830 census. I would appreciate it if anyone who comes across any info about a wife would share this with me. It appears from the 1830 census that his wife was alive at that time and that possibly his parents (based on ages of residents--it could have been her parents) were living with them. His parents were Joseph and Margaret. I have previously received info that there is no Duplin Co info on her in a will. But perhaps there was a marriage bond or a baptism record. This has been a dead end for me for a while now and I would appreciate any help anyone could give. Thank you very much for assistance.

BYRD, BIRD, BURD - Am trying to determine if the "Shadk BYRD" supposedly listed in Capt. Kenan's District for the April 1786 census taken for Duplin County, NC by Daniel Hicks might be the same Shadrack BYRD/BIRD/BURD who lived in Washington Co. GA in 1789 and eventually moved to Christian Co. KY before dying in Stewart Co. TN in 1814. Shadrack BYRD/BIRD was supposedly born ~1750 (Bertie Co. NC or "England"?) and married a "German" girl, Nancy YOUNG. Any and all help VERY greatly appreciated by this Native Arizonan!!!! - thanks, Kenneth Byrd
