I am searching for any information on Owen R. FLOYD who appears in the 1850 Duplin County Census. He was born in 1825 and married (1st)Kitsy FOUNTAIN about 1845. They had at least one son John E. FLOYD - who was born 5 Aug 1846 and married Ellen FLOYD in Duplin County on 2 Mar 1869. I am assuming that this the same Owen R. FLOYD who appears in the 1870 census in Dallas County, AL. This Owen R. FLOYD was born in NC in 1825, and married Anna Louisa ANDERSON on 26 Mar 1854 in Fulton County, GA. Owen and Anna FLOYD were parents of Kate L FLOYD, my gg grandmother.
Any information on the FLOYD family in Duplin County, NC would be greatly appreciated.
