Everett Dickson Pension ~ 1898
To The Honorable Senate and House of Representatives of the State of North Carolina
We the undersigned citizens of the County of Duplin State of North Carolina do most
earnestly petition and pray that you grant and give to Everett DICKSON and Mike BYRD
a pension-They are both disabled confederate soldiers and have good records.
Duplin County, N.C.
Dec. 29th, 1898
This is to Certify that Evrett DICKSON served in the Confederate Army from Sixty one
to Sixty five and belonged to Co. "A" 51st N.C. Regt. Chinqman's Brigade Hoke's Div.
And there was no better Soldier from North Carolina then Mr. DICKSON and -- one ---
of a pension at the State this January the 5th, 1899.
