Obituary of Zeb Vance Lanier ~ 1962

Wallace - Zebbie Vance Lanier, 62, formerly of Chinquapin, died late 
Friday in Baltimore, Md.
He was a native of Duplin County but had made his home in Baltimore for 
many years.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Sharon Baptist 
Church in Chinquapin with the Rev. M. Blackmore and the Rev. K. D. Brown 
officiating. Burial will be in the Lanier family cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mildred Lanier of the home; three 
daughters, Mrs. Odthal Sandlin of Ft. Devens, Mass., Mrs. Doris Amersbach 
of Baltimore, and Mrs. Ann Jones of Edward, Calif.; one son, Arvin Lanier 
of Baltimore; four brothers, John Edward of Burgaw, Jimmy of Beulaville, 
Jody of Chinquapin and Charlie of Harrells; four sisters, Mrs. Bertie 
Hatcher, Mrs. Bessie Bradham and Mrs. Minnie Sloan of Chinquapin and Ada 
Brown of Wallace and 12 grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Norman Funeral Home here until noon Monday.
