Obituary of Willie Martin Sumner ~ 1956

Willie Martin Sumner, 47, of near Beulaville, died unexpectedly in his 
sleep Saturday after two years of declining health. 
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday from the home by the Rev. 
Norman Aycock, pastor of the Hallsville Baptist Church. 
Burial was in the family cemetery near the home. 
Surviving are his wife, the former Ruby Blalock; three children, Linwood 
of Beulaville, Shelby Jean and Charles A. of the home; his mother, Mrs. 
Mary C. Sumner; two brothers, George W. and Joel I.; and three sisters, 
Mrs. Oma Iris Miller, Mrs. C. D. Miller and Mrs. Walter Woodcock.
