Wallace - Willie Batts, 64, a farmer of Rt. 1, Chinquapin, died Monday. 
Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, Edgerton Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Jack Dail. 
Burial, family cemetery.
Surviving: his wife, Mrs. Bertha Lanier Batts; two daughters, Mrs. John 
Amon of Goldsboro and Mrs. John Beachman of Springfield, Va.; two sons, 
Roger of Chinquapin and Reynolds Batts of Hampton, Va.; four sisters, Mrs. 
Thedford Harrell of Rose Hill, Mrs. Richard Pickett and Mrs. Ethro Miller 
of Beulaville and Mrs. Amos Lanier of Burgaw; a brother, Alonzo Batts of 
Beulaville; eleven grandchildren.
