Obituary of William Watus Teachey ~ 1988

Pikeville - William Watus Teachey, 78, died early this morning in Wayne 
Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Shackleford Funeral Home 
Chapel in Fremont with Rev. Roy Savage officiating. 
Burial will be in Pikeville Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma Smith Teachey; a daughter, Mrs. 
Mattie Hartman of Pikeville; a son, Jimmy W. Teachey of Pikeville; his 
stepmother, Mrs. Viola Teachey of Wake Forest; a half-brother, Willie 
Teachey of Wake Forest; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7 until 8:30 at the 
funeral home.
