Obituary of W D Kilpatrick ~ 1953

Mr. W. D. Kilpatrick, age 83, died in James Walker Hospital at 4:30 p.m. 
Wednesday, Feb. 4th after a lingering illness followed by a stroke on 
Monday night.
Surviving are two sons, W. C. and David J. Kilpatrick, five daughters, 
Mrs. T. A. Jernigan, Mt. Olive Mrs. Shad Kornegay, Albertson, Mrs. L. A. 
Brock, Rose Hill, Mrs. Preston Bostic, Magnolia, one brother, Amos 
Kilpatrick of Rose Hill, one half brother, John B. Kilpatrick of Teacheys, 
N.C., sixteen grand children and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral 
services will be conducted by Rev. Vann Murrell at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6 
at Dobson Chapel Baptist church. The body will lie in state at the church 
two hours prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
