Obituary of Walter "Joe" Armwood ~ 2004

MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Walter "Joe" Armwood, 44. of 302 Maple St.,
will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. 
Elder W.C. Waters will officiate. 
Burial will be in Cobb Cemetery.
Mr. Armwood died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. 
He is survived by his foster parents, Charles and Gloria Armwood of Mount 
Olive; his grandmother, Odessa Powell of Mount Olive; three sisters, Linda 
Herring Mattie Freeman and Stella Swinson of Clinton; one foster sister, 
Miracle Armwood of Mount Olive; and three brothers, James McNeil of New 
Hersey, Paul Hargrove of Asheville and James Hargrove of Roseboro.
The viewing will be today from 3 until 7 p.m. at Bass Funeral Home.
