Obituary of Thomas Francis Sanders ~ 1961

Richlands, May 15 -- Thomas F. Sandlin, 77, died in Lenoir Memorial 
Hospital at Kinston Sunday after a long illness. 
Funeral services will be held from the Johnson Funeral Homes at 3 p.m. 
Tuesday. Rev. W. B. Cotton of the Richlands Methodist Church will 
officiate. 
Burial will follow in Onslow Memorial Park. 
Survivors include three sons, W. T., Darwin and Gorman, all of Richlands; 
three daughters, Mrs. R. J. Salmon of Wallace, and Mrs. Harry Thomas and 
Mrs. R. W. Hiemenz, both of Richlands; two brothers, H. V. and C. R. 
Sandlin, both of Richlands; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Williams of Beulaville 
and Mrs. Kelly Cottle of Kinston; 21 grandchildren and four great 
grandchildren.
