Obituary of Sidney Earl Dawson ~ 1993

Mr. Sidney Earl Dawson, 65, of Rt. 1, Box 217-B, Willard, N.C., died 
Thursday, April 1, 1993, at his residence. He was born in Kinston, N.C., 
on November 20, 1927, to the late Noah Alvis and Irene Carter Dawson.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Estelle Dawson of the home; two sons, 
Charles Dawson of Pollocksville, N.C., Sidney Dawson of Winnabow; five 
daughters, Jean Watson of Alvin, Texas, Barbara Neal of Winnabow, Marie 
LaPage of Pasadena, Texas, Charlene Iovannisc of Stockbridge, Michigan, 
Renaye Pait of Bladenboro, N.C.; three brothers, five sisters, sixteen 
grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 3, 1993, in the 
Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Jerry Green 
officiating. Interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. this evening at Coble
Ward-Smith Funeral Service Chapel.
