Obituary of Robert James Padgett ~ 1960

Wallace - Funeral services for Robert J. Padgett, 84, a retired farmer of 
Rt. 4 here, who died Saturday at Duplin General Hospital, will be at the 
graveside of the Powell Family Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Monday.
The Rev. K. D. Brown will officiate.
Surviving are his wife, the former Emma Rogers; four daughters, Mrs. Laura 
Garvey and Lucille Henderson, both of Rt. 4 here, Mrs. Nellie Brown of Rt. 
1, Maplefield, and Mrs. Virginia Clemmons of Richmond, Va.; a son, Charles 
Padgett of Wilmington; a sister, Mrs. Martha Brown and a brother, Jerry 
Padgett, both of Rt. 4 here; 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
