Wallace - Pearlie Wright Teachey, 65, of Wallace died suddenly at his home
of an apparent heart attack Tuesday morning.
A native of Rose Hill, he was a retired farmer and a son of the late John
Wright and Dora C. Teachey.
He was a member of the Teachey Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Powell Teachey of the home; two
brothers, John R. Teachey of Rose Hill and David C. Teachey of Portsmouth,
Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Earlie May Smith of Warsaw and Mrs. Margaret T.
Wells of Teachey; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Norman Memorial
Chapel by the Rev. E. F. Knight, pastor of Teachey Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Norman Funeral Home until the funeral.
Pallbearers will be Donald Teachey, Carol Carl Powell, Eugene Kermon,
Edward Teachey, Marvin Troutman and Wayne Troutman.
