Edgerton Funeral Home chapel, Wallace. Burial, Riverview Memorial Park.
Surviving: widow, Mrs. Margaret Clark Lanier; daughters, Mrs. Annette 
Pierce of Wallace, Mrs. Juanita Williams and Mrs. Faye Smith of 
Beulaville; son, David Lanier, Fredericksburg, Va.; step-daughter, Mrs. 
Linda K. Warming of Wilmington; stepson, Steve Batchelor of Durham; 
sisters, Mrs. Peachie Hunter of Chinquapin, Mrs. Netha Maki, Mrs. Amy 
Pierce of Jacksonville, Mrs. Norma Russ of Wilmington; 8 grandchildren; a 
stepgrandchild.
