Obituary of Omah Williams Cavenaugh ~ 1987

Mrs. Omah Williams Cavenaugh, widow of Charles Irving Cavenaugh, of 1709 
South Live Oake Parkway died Tuesday at her residence.
She was born in Wilmington on March 17, 1901, the daughter of the late 
Clinton F. and Lena Mills Williams.
Mrs. Cavenaugh was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, The Carolina 
Yacht Club, and The Cape Fear Garden Club.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Vivian W. Allen of Wilmington and Mrs. 
Audrey W. Sayer of Clearwater, Florida, four grandchildren, Miss Heather 
Kilpatrick and Miss Holly Kilpatrick, both of New York, New York, John 
Kilpatrick of Denver Colorado, and Charles Kilpatrick of Richmond, 
Virginia.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 11 o'clock in the 
Chapel of Andrews Mortuary by Rev. Ben Rouse. Interment will follow in 
Oadkadle Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening 7 until 8 p.m. at Andrews 
Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to the Lake Waccamaw Boys Home, Lake Waccamaw, N.C.
