Wallace - Mr. Norwood Williams Cavenaugh Sr., 69, of Route 3, Wallace, 
died Sunday afternoon May 14, 1995, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 1995, from the 
Padgett Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Billy Toler and Rev. Willard 
Hardison. Burial will follow in the Cavenaugh Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bernice Smith Cavenaugh; two daughters, 
Betsy Easter and Mrs. Terry (Debbie) Parker, both of Wallace; one son, 
Norwood Williams Cavenaugh Jr. and wife, Mary Lou, of Wallace; two 
brothers, Willie H. Cavenaugh of Kernersville and Duncan Cavenaugh of 
Wallace; and three grandchildren, Vashti Easter, Abigail Easter and Shane 
Cavenaugh, all of Wallace.
A native of Duplin County, Mr. Cavenaugh was the son of the late Robert R. 
and Alberta English Cavenaugh and was a veteran of World War II, having 
served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired farmer and was a member of 
Northeast Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.
The family will receive at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday 
and at their residence, Route 3, Wallace, other times.
