Obituary of Nora Blanche Savage Brown Carr ~ 2003

Nora Blanch Carr, age 100, of Wilmington died Thursday, December 11, 2003, 
at Britthaven of Northchase.
She was born in Duplin County, NC, on October 5, 1903, the daughter of the 
late Ernest and Priscilla Savage, and was the widow of Eddie Graham Carr. 
Remembered is her daughter, Edna Blanch Tartt.
Surviving her are two daughters, Lucy Mae Sellers of Winnabow and Kathleen 
Todd of Wilmington; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; and one 
sister, Daisey Batten of Wilmington.
A funeral service will be held 3 pm Monday at Andrews Mortuary Valley 
Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 pm Sunday at Andrews Mortuary 
Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd., Wilmington.
