Hampstead, N.C. - Morie Lee Norris English, 90, died November 11, 1995, 
her home.
She was born March 11, 1905, in Duplin County, the daughter of Van and 
Emily Norris. She was the wife of Waitus English Sr. 
Mrs. English is preceded in death by her son, Myron English.
Mrs. English is survived by her husband; son, W.C. English Jr. and wife, 
Helen of Hampstead; daughter-in-law, Ann English of Hampstead; sister, 
Edith Henderson of Wilmington; foster sister Hilma Roberts of Wilmington; 
foster brother, Kenneth Norris of Wallace; five grandchildren, Charlotte 
Dexley and husband, Ken of Atlanta, Ga., David English and wife, Tonya of 
Hampstead, Waitus English III and wife, Kathy of Burgaw, Sheryl Cauley and 
husband, Robbie of Hampstead, Vann English and wife, Angela of Burgaw; and 
eleven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday, 3 p.m. at Barlow Vista Baptist Church with 
the Rev. Tim Evans, Rev. Paul Mull and Rev. L.G. Green officiating. 
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the church annex immediately following 
the service and at other times at the residence.
