M. J. Cavenaugh Funeral In Wallace 

M. J. (Jud) Cavenaugh, Wallace Chevrolet dealer, died Thursday afternoon 
at James Walker Hospital following an illness of several weeks. 
He was 67 years old and a former member of the town board in Wallace. 
Funeral services were held from the home in Wallace on Saturday morning at 
10:30. Interment followed in Rockfish Cemetery. 
Surviving are his widow, Martha Britt Cavenaugh; one daughter, Mrs. Troy 
Jones, Carrboro; two sons, L. B., and R. S. Cavenaugh of Wallace; and five 
grandchildren.
