Services Set For Mattie Cavenaugh 

Mrs. Mattie Sills Cavenaugh, 84, of Route 5, Dunn, died Tuesday night in 
Golden Years Nursing Home.
Mrs. Cavenaugh was a native of Sampson County, daughter of the late John 
and Malissa Butler Sills. She was the widow of Johnny E. Cavenaugh Sr.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at Union Grove Free Will 
Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Davis officiating. Burial will follow in 
Devotional Gardens.
Surviving are a son, Johnny E., Jr. and Ruby Cavenaugh of Rt. 5, Dunn; 
three grandchildren, Russell E. Cavenaugh, Miss Eleanor Cavenaugh and Miss 
Ann Marie Cavenaugh all of the home.
The family will receive friends at Skinner and Drew Funeral Home tonight 
from 7-9 p.m.
