Margaret Theresa "Reese" Ann Fetter of 914 41st Street, Wilmington, was
found November 24, 1998.
Reese was born in Fort Carson, Colorado, April 19, 1982, to Carl Francis and
Margaret Blizzard Fetter of Wilmington. She was preceded in death by her
grandfather, Edward H. Fetter of NY; her great-grandmother, Martha Willetts
of Browns Mills, NJ; and an aunt, Bonnie Grotzinger.
Reese attended and became very fond of Laney High School as well as the
other students there. In her junior year of high school, she was looking
into colleges and a veterinarian was her career of choice, because of her
love of cats.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her brothers, Alvyn Alchinger IV
and wife of KY, Carl F. Fetter II of Ft. Leonardwood, MO, Edward Fetter of
Castle Hayne; a sister, Khristina Schafer of Bossier City, LA; a niece,
Ashley Schafer; two nephews, Jay Schafer of Wilmington and Joshua Schafer of
Bossier, LA; paternal grandmother, Theresa Fetter; maternal grandparents,
Gardner W. and Margaret Blizzard of Penderlea; aunts and uncles from all
over.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 28,
1998, in the Trinity Independent Freewill Baptist Church with the Reverend
Lanie Furr officiating.
Casketbearers will be Timmy Grotzinger, Shane Kirkpatrick, Stephen Jordan,
Scott Medcalf, Kevin Jordan and Kevin Hughes. Honorary bearers will be
William Hall and Richard Medcalf.
The family will receive friends at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service this
evening, Friday, November 27th from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be made to the
Fetter Fund, c/o Dianne Coburn, 6391 Pelham Road, Willard, NC
