Obituary of Lynwood Straughn ~ 1960

Wallace -- Funeral services for Linwood Straughn, 81, of Beulaville, who 
died Wednesday at Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown after an illness 
of several months, will be conducted today at 3 p.m. from the graveside at 
Onslow Memorial Park at Jacksonville, N. C.
The Rev. Danny Jenkins of the Free Will Baptist Church in Snead's Ferry 
will be in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie Straughn of Beulaville; five 
daughters, Mrs. Mary Shillingburg of Richlands, Mrs. Ruth Hamborski of 
Connellsville, Penna., Mrs. Grace Yuhas of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Doris 
Padgett of Rt. 1, Maple Hill, N. C., and Mrs. Helen Carroll of Canton, 
Ohio; three sons, Jeff of Hollywood, Fla., Charlie of Beulaville, and 
Guss of Great Lakes, Ill.; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
