Obituary of Lucille Myrtle Padgett Henderson ~ 1976

Wallace - Mrs. Lucille Padgett Henderson, 60, died unexpectedly Thursday
in Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from Edgerton funeral
Chapel. Conducted by the Rev. Zack Collier. Burial will follow in
Riverview Memorial Park near Watha.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Linda) Brown of Raleigh; two sons,
R.C. Henderson and Roger Henderson, both of Wilmington; three sisters,
Mrs. Laura Garvey of Leland, Mrs. Nellie Brown of Wilmington and Mrs.
Virginia Clemmons of Richmond, Va.; one brother, Charles Padgett of
Wilmington; five grandchildren.
A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and
Emma Rogers Padgett, and a widow of Claude Henderson. She was a member of
the Oakdale Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.
Casketbearers will be Homer Brown, James Brown, Bobby Brown, Morris Brown,
Willie Brown, Glenn Padgett, Donald Brown and Drew Padgett.

The body will be at the home late Friday afternoon and will remain there
until 1:30 p.m. Saturday when it will be taken to the Church.
