Bartow -- Mrs. Lola M. Horne of Bartow died of complications of 
Alzheimer's disease Sunday (Sep 12 2004) at Bartow Memorial Hospital. 
She was 83.
Born in Richlands, N.C., on July 28, 1921, she was a longtime resident of 
Bartow. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church in 
Bartow.
Mrs. Horne was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Horne. 
She is survived by her daughters, Annette Clemmons, Webb, Ala., Ellen 
Thompson, Cross City, Marlene Pepiton, Phoenix; sons, Ted Horn, Highland 
City, Bobby Horne, Bartow; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Whidden-McLean Funeral 
Home, 650 E. Main St., Bartow. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 
Bartow First Baptist Church, 410 E. Church St., Bartow. 
Burial will follow in Bowling Green Cemetery, Bowling Green.
