LaRue Rhodes Mercer, age 59, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006. 
Funeral was Saturday, September 23 followed by visitation at Community 
Funeral Home in Beulaville. 
Graveside service was held Sunday, September 24 at East Duplin Memorial 
Gardens in Beulaville. 
Survived by: husband, Haywood Mercer of Pink Hill; 2 sisters, Pat Gillette 
of Jacksonville and Anice Hunter of Goldsboro; brother, Horace Rhodes of 
Beulaville; sister-in-law, Morlene Rhodes of Wallace; and 3 grandchildren.
