Obituary of John W Cavenaugh ~ 1980

Burgaw - John W. Cavenaugh, 96, died Sunday morning in Pender Memorial 
Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Quinn-McGowen Funeral Chapel. 
Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park.
Mr. Cavenaugh is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Rivenbark Cavenaugh of 
Burgaw; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Harris and Mrs. Sadie Jordan, both of 
Burgaw and Mrs. Emily Poste of Detroit, Mich.; five sons, John H. 
Cavenaugh, Felton Cavenaugh and Eugene Cavenaugh, all of Detroit, Mich., 
Lawrence Cavenaugh of Goldsboro and Larry Cavenaugh of Watha; one brother, 
Frank Cavenaugh of Richlands; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 
two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home Monday 
from 7 to 9 p.m., and other times they will be at the home of Mrs. Robbie 
Harris, 205 N. Dudley St., Burgaw.
