Rites Set For Johnnie Cavenaugh 

Johnnie Edward Cavenaugh, Sr., 84, of Dunn, died Sunday.
Mr. Cavenaugh was a native of Onslow County, son of the late John E. and 
Betsy Cavenaugh. He was a veteran of World War I and a retired farmer.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at Union Grove Pentecostal 
Free Will Holiness Church with Rev. Horace Johnson and Rev. J.E. Thornton 
officiating. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maddie Sill Cavenaugh; a son, John E. 
Cavenaugh Jr. of Route 5, Dunn; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Skinner and Drew Funeral Home from 7-9 
p.m. tonight and at other times at the home of his son, John E. Cavenaugh 
Jr. of Rt. 5, Dunn.
