Wallace - Mr. J. Buel Cavenaugh age 82, of 761 Angola Bay Road, Wallace, 
died Wednesday afternoon, April 3, 1996, at Sampson Memorial Hospital in 
Clinton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 1996, from 
the Padgett Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. George W. Price Jr. and Rev. 
Jonah Swinson. Burial will follow in the Henderson Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eula Hobbs Cavenaugh; three daughters, 
Mrs. James (Helen) Padgett and Mrs. Roy (Lula) Gray, both of Wallace, and 
Mrs. Terry (Marie) Whaley of Chinquapin; two sons, Harold Cavenaugh of 
Wallace and Earl Cavenaugh and wife, Jo Ann, of Winnabow; eleven 
grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by two 
grandsons.
A native of Duplin County, Mr. Cavenaugh was the son of the late Riley and 
Mary Ellen Brown Cavenaugh and was a retired farmer.
Casketbearers will be Leamon Cavenaugh, Elmer Cavenaugh, Orion Cavenaugh, 
Christy Cavenaugh, Leon Craft and Jamie Craft.
The family will receive at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 
will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gray, 806 Deep Bottom Road, 
Wallace, other times.
