MOUNT OLIVE -- James Pearsall Jr., 76, of 600 Smith Chapel Road, Mount 
Olive, died Tuesday at SunBridge Nursing Center.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Bass Funeral 
Home. The Rev. Donald R. Kornegay will officiate. 
Burial will be in Winn Cemetery.
Mr. Pearsall is survived by three daughters, Catherine Lee of Mount Olive, 
Barbara Rasberry of Kinston and Phillis Swinson of LaGrange; two sons, 
Alfred Pearsall of Baltimore, Md., and James D. Pearsall of LaGrange; 
three sisters, Christine Armwood of Mount Olive, Dorothy Palmely and 
Rachel Cole of Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, Samuel Pearsall of Baltimore 
and Granger Pearsall of Mount Olvie; and 10 grandchildren and 10 great-
grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 1 until 7 p.m. today at Bass Funeral Home.
