Obituary of James Allen Lanier ~ 1960

Wallace - Funeral services for James Allen Lanier, 45, who died in Kinston 
Sunday, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at his home, Rt. 2, Beaulaville, by 
the Rev. P. T. Ellis. Burial will be in the Lanier Family Cemetery.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Katie Lanier; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy 
Ann Mills of Comfort, Mrs. Elizabeth Bostic of Beaulaville and Miss Patsy 
Lanier of the home; two sons, James Lanier of Fort Hutchinson, Ariz. and 
Charles Allen Lanier of the home; three brothers, Albert, Jessie and 
Leslie Lanier of Beaulaville;; six sisters, Mrs. Roy Brown, Mrs. Ellis 
Mercer and Mrs. Elbert Sandlin of Beaulaville, Mrs. Theo Washburn of 
Richlands, Mrs. Sam Setser of Asheville and Mrs. Ralph Thompson of 
Pinelevel.
