Obituary of Inez Yarborough Greene ~ 2005

Contributed by Carroll Pearsall

Diane,

I got this obit for another reason, but am sending for the site.
Some info out there on the net is in error.
Her brother Joseph B. Yarborough died in the service of his country during
WW2. I came across the misinformation while searching for the brother who
died in WW2.
Apparently the father James Joseph Yarbrough was married twice.
The records indicate variant spellings.
Mrs. York's death certificate shows her parents as James Frank York and
Margaret Casteen. That is also in error.
I am still searching for the WW2 Yarboro.

Other notes:

1. Inez Yarbrough was born in Duplin on 3 Oct 1915.
Parents are shown as James Joseph Yarbrough and Margaret Jane on her death
certificate. She married Robert Edwin Greene.

2. Pauline Yarboro (sic), born 19 Mar 1921, Onslow County.
Some entries on the net reflect that she was married to a Otie Taylor
Cook, Jr. That info is incorrect.
Pauline married a York and lived in Pinetops, NC.
