Obituary of Homer Thaddeus Sanderson ~ 1998

Mr. Homer Thadeous Sanderson, 75, of 4404 Cascade Road, Wilmington, died 
Thursday, December 10, 1998, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Sanderson was born August 5, 1923, the eldest son of the late Harry 
Lee and Lucille Batts Sanderson of Wallace, NC.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Winnie Moore Sanderson; 
daughter, Gayle and her husband, Ed Bergamini, of Durham and their son, 
Ben Bergamini and his wife, Mandy, of Raleigh; a son, Glenn Sanderson and 
his wife, Jayne, and their son, Zachary, of Carolina Beach, and a son, 
Gary Sanderson of Monroe; four sisters, Lois Moore of Winston-Salem, Hazel 
Cavenaugh of Kernersville, Louise English of Wallace and Peggy Brinkley 
of Burgaw; four brothers, James B. Sanderson, Bradley C. Sanderson, 
Johnny A. Sanderson, all of Wallace, Roy C. Sanderson of Burgaw; two 
stepgranddaughters, Leslie Ann and Amy Noel; a stepgreat-granddaughter, 
Kelsey Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside inurnment service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 14, 
1998, at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 4404 Cascade Road, 
between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 1998.
