Obituary of Hezzie Lee Cavenaugh ~ 1995

Wallace - Mr. Hezzie Lee Cavenaugh, of 4490 South Hwy. #41, Wallace, died 
January 15, 1995, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Cavenaugh was born in Duplin County on May 11, 1916, the son of the 
late Samuel A. and Bessie Hyatt Cavenaugh. He was a US Army Veteran of 
World War II.
Surviving are his son, Samuel "Sambo" Cavenaugh and his wife, Dawn of the 
home; his grandchildren, Samantha, Duaine and Philip Cavenaugh and five 
great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 1995, at 
Greenlawn Memorial Park with Reverend Charles Mosley officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Coble Ward-Smith Oleander Chapel 
this evening from 7 until 8 p.m. and at other times will be at the 
residence in Wallace.
The family requests memorials be made to the Watha Pentecostal Freewill 
Baptist Church or the Wallace Rescue Squad. A Coble Ward-Smith Service, 
Oleander Chapel.
