Obituary of Florence Mae Sholar Brown Mobley ~ 1987

Wallace - Mrs. Florence Sholar Brown Mobley, age 74, of Route 2, Wallace, 
died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Dec. 8 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 10 at 2:30 p.m. from the 
Oakdale Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Billy Hall. 
Burial will follow in the Henderson Cemetery, Route 2, Wallace.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Bronnie (Helen) Henderson and 
Mrs. Shirley Henderson, both of Wallace, Mrs. John (Doris) Mott and 
Mrs. J.W. (Linda) Mott, both of Harrells; four sons, Woodrow Brown, 
Clifton Brown and Bobby Mobley, all of Wallace and Jackie Brown of 
Beulaville; three brothers, Denver Sholar of Wallace, Ray Sholar and 
Winfred Sholar, both of Holly Ridge, 19 grandchildren and 11 great-
grandchildren.
A native of Duplin County, Mrs. Mobley was the daughter of the late 
McKeever and Ida Parker Sholar. She was the widow of the late Ennis 
Brown and Ray Mobley and was a member of the Oakdale Pentecostal 
Freewill Baptist Church.
Casketbearers will be Rex Brown, Terry Brown, Chris Brown, David 
Henderson, John Henderson and Danny Henderson. 
Honorary bearers will be Greg Mott, Stephen Mott, Brad Mott, Linwood 
Henderson and Jamie Brown.
The family will receive at the Padgett Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. 
Wednesday and will be at their residence, Route 2, Wallace other times.
The body will remain at the funeral home until 12:30 p.m. Thursday when 
it will be taken to the church to lie in state one hour prior the service.
