Obituary of Fennell Murray Cavenaugh ~ 1970

Wallace - Fennell Murray Cavenaugh, 73, Rt. 2 Wallace, died Thursday in 
New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Edgerton Funeral 
Chapel in Wallace with the Rev. Bruce Bond and the Rev. Volney Bryan 
officiating. Burial will be in the Dail Cemetery in Pin Hook.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Rosa Pierce Cavenaugh; one daughter, Mrs. 
Agnes Henderson of Wilmington; one son, Orian Cavenaugh of Wilmington; two 
sisters, Mrs. Myrtie Sholar and Mrs. Annie Brown, both of Wallace; five 
brothers, Buel, Adell and Stephen Cavenaugh, all of Wallace, Carol 
Cavenaugh of Magnolia and Cyrus Cavenaugh of Warsaw.
A native of Duplin County, he was the son of the late Riley and Ellen 
Brown Cavenaugh. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Pin Hook 
Church.
