Obituary of Evula Savage Carter ~ 1977

Wallace - Mrs. Evula Savage Carter, 85, of Rt. 3, died Thursday at 
Hillhaven Convalescent Center in Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. from the Edgerton Funeral 
Chapel by the Rev. Billy Toler. 
Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Teachey 
and Margaret Isabel Cavenaugh Savage, and was the widow of Charlie K. 
Carter. She was a member of the Northeast Pentecostal Freewill Baptist 
Church.
Casketbearers will be J.W. Kelly, Thomas Cavenaugh, Aaron Cavenaugh, Buck 
Rich, Bobby Cavenaugh and Mack Raynor.
