Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. 
Burial, Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.
Surviving: wife, Mrs. Annie Creech Carter; daughter, Mrs. Maggie Rivenbark 
of Bolivia; sons, Edwin K. Carter Jr. of Wilmington; Linwood Ray Carter 
of Wallace, Joseph Forest Carter of Warsaw; eight grandchildren; two 
great-grandchildren.
