Obituary of Doctor English ~ 1996

Wallace - Mr. Dock English, age 93, of Rt. 2, Wallace, died Friday, Feb. 
9, 1996, at Maine Health Care in Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Padgett Funeral 
Chapel, conducted by Rev. George W. Price Jr. 
Burial will follow in Cavenaugh Cemetery.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Robert (Frances) Williams of 
Fayetteville, Mrs. Eunice Mott of Teachey and Mrs. Guy (Joyce) Cooper of 
Winder, Ga.; 2 sons, Bernice English and wife, Dorothy, of Wilmington, and 
Kenneth English and wife, Patsy, of Jacksonville, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 
24 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A native of Duplin County, Mr. English was the son of the late Thomas and 
Ada Elizabeth Bradshaw English. He was a lifelong member of Duplin County 
and was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta English.
The family will receive at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
