Darnell Vance Gwaltney, Jr. age 66, died Saturday, August 19, 2006. 
Visitation and funeral were held Monday, August 21 at Tyndall FuneralHome. 
Burial followed in the Willow Dale Cemetery in Goldsboro. 
Survived by: wife, Clara Dail Gwaltney of Dudley; son, Darnell V. "Don" 
Gwaltney, III and wife Tina of Dudley; daughter, Rebekah Gwaltney Guyton 
and husband Adam of Goldsboro; son-in-law, Timothy Louis Hobbs of Faison; 
2 brothers, Doug Gwaltney of Dudley and Danny Gwaltney of Calypso; and 2 
grandchildren, Meagan Nicole Hobbs and Calyla Marie Hobbs, both of Faison.
Preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Lynn Gwaltney Hobbs.
