Obituary of Daniel Eden Cavenaugh ~ 1975

Wallace - Daniel Eden Cavenaugh, 77, of Rt. 2, Wallace, died suddenly 
Sunday night.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 p. m. from the Northeast 
Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Billy Toler and Rev. 
K. B. Brown. Burial will follow in the Cavenaugh cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sadie Carter Cavenaugh; a daughter, Mrs. 
Linton (Katie) Cantrell of Wallace, a son, Garland Cavenaugh of Wallace, 
three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Cavenaugh, Mrs. Florence Cavenaugh, and Mrs. 
Melva Stroud, all of Wallace; two brothers, John Cavenaugh of Wallace and 
Mike Cavenaugh of Turkey; eight grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.
A native of Duplin County, he was the son of the late John William and 
Katie Teachey Cavenaugh. He was a retired farmer and a life long resident 
of the Northeast Community.
Casketbearers will be Elbert Sholar, Morris Cavenaugh, Edward Cavenaugh, 
Stanley Cavenaugh, Aaron Cavenaugh and Clifton O. Jones.
Visitation will be at Edgerton Funeral Home in Wallace until 2 p m. 
Tuesday when the body will be taken to the church."
