Obituary of Daisy Cavenaugh Sholar ~ 1963

Wallace - Mrs. Daisy Cavenaugh Sholar, 67, died Sunday at her home on Rt. 
2, Wallace, following a short illness.
A native of Duplin County, she was a daughter of the late John Katie 
Teachey Cavenaugh.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Oakdale Baptist Church 
by the Rev. K. D. Brown of Burgaw and the Rev. Ben Howard, pastor of the 
church. Burial will be in Cavenaugh family cemetery near here.
Survivors include her husband, Irving Sholar; a daughter, Mrs. John E. 
Lanier of Rt. 2, Wallace; two sons, Elbert Sholar and Landin Sholar of Rt. 
2, Wallace; three sisters, Mrs. Melva Stroud, Mrs. Florence Cavenaugh and 
Mrs. Bessie Cavenaugh of Rt. 2 Wallace; four brothers, Daniel Cavenaugh, 
Joe Cavenaugh, John Cavenaugh of Rt. 2, Wallace, and Mike Cavenaugh of 
Turkey; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
