Obituary of Clair Ersa Cavenaugh ~ 1948

Warsaw, Oct. 22. -- Mrs. Clair Ersa Cavenaugh, 63, widow of C. W. Cavenaugh, 
died Thursday morning at Duke hospital, Durham, after a week's illness and 
several months of declining health.
Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in the family near 
Chinquapin at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon by the Rev. Garvey, pastor 
of the Chinquapin Presbyterian church.
She is survived by three sons, Tom Redmon Cavenaugh of Mt. Morrison, Col. 
C. W. Caveraugh [sic] of Rose Hill, and W. L. Cavenaugh of Kenansville; 
four daughters, Mrs. Lemuel Brinson of Wilmington, Mrs. Robert Peyton of 
Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Mary L. Castro of San Ysidro, Cal. and Mrs. 
Freddie Edmonds of Buckroe Beach, Va.
