Obituary of Charlie Kinchon Carter ~ 1975

Wallace - Mr. Charlie Kinchon Carter, 85, of Rt. 3, Wallace, died suddenly 
Friday morning at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Edgerton Funeral 
Chapel, conducted by Rev. Billy Toler. 
Burial will follow in the Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Evula Savage Carter of the home; a sister, 
Mrs. Sallie Savage of Culver City, Calif.; a half-sister, Mrs. Margaret 
Murray of Wallace; a half-brother, Edwin K. Carter of Wallace.
A native of Duplin County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary 
Savage Carter. He was a retired carpenter and farmer.
Casketbearers will be Earl Cavenaugh, Robert H. Walker, Edwin Carter Jr., 
Linwood Carter, Joe Carter, and Bob Murray.
