Obituary of Charlie Matton Albertson ~ 1982

Harrells - Mr. Charlie Matton Albertson, age 74, of Route 1, Harrells, 
died early Wednesday morning in New Hanover Memorial Hospital in 
Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Edgerton Funeral 
Chapel in Wallace conducted by Dr. Jesse Parks. 
Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Charlie (Norma) Lanier of Harrells; five 
brothers, Drew, Clayton, Milton, Rayford and Tommie all of Harrells, two 
nephews, two great nieces and one great nephew.
A native of Duplin County, Mr. Albertson was the son of the late Owen and 
Lula Cottle Albertson and was a retired carpenter.
Casketbearers will be Henry Matthews, Jack Bowen, Stedman Moore, Clayton 
Cottle, Mack Johnson and Edward Bowen.
The family will receive at the Edgerton Funeral Home in Wallace from 7:30 
to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and at Mr. Albertson's residence.
