Obituary of Charles Daniel Morse ~ 1951

Leland, April 15 -- Funeral services for Charles Daniel Morse, of Armour, 
51, will be held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon from Elah Baptist church, 
Leland, with the Rev. W. G. Phelps officiating. Interment will be in 
Nelson family cemetery.
Mr. Morse, Seaboard Airline railroad section foreman for 31 years, died in 
Bullucks hospital in Wilmington Friday afternoon.
Mr. Morse is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Savage Morse; one son, 
Charles Daniel Morse, Jr., with the Army in Korea; one daughter, Miss Ruth 
Morse, Armour; his step-mother, Mrs. Mary Morse; three sisters, Mrs. Julia 
Russ, Mrs. Ruby White, Wilmington, Mrs. Pearl Leonard, Morehead City; and 
one brother, J. H. Morse, Wilmington.
