Obituary of Carroll Yates Padrick Sr ~ 1972

Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Tuesday from the chapel of Howard 
and Carter Funeral Home for Carol Yates Paderick, 84, a retired farmer 
of the Woodington section of Kinston Route 5, who died Sunday in a local 
hospital. Rev. David Paramore will officiate. 
Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. 
He was the son of the late Charlie D. and Lennie Cavanaugh Paderick of 
Onslow County. Survivors include six sons, N. C. of Kinston Route 5, 
Terry E. of Dover Route 1, Edwin L. of Troutville, Va., C. D. and C. Y. 
Jr. of Portsmouth, Va. and Elwood Paderick of LaGrange; three daughters, 
Mrs. William Preast of Kinston, Mrs. Thad Mason of Raleigh and Mrs. 
Robert Smith of Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers, Cecil, Ray and Freddie, 
all of Fort Pierce, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Claude Tilghman, Mrs. Bill 
Stonebrook and Mrs. Johnny Norvell, all of Fort Pierce, Fla.; 24 
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. 
The family will receive at the funeral home from 7-9 p. m. Monday.
